In 2008 my love of screen printing and as therapy to long corporate hours led me to start a screen printing side business. To do this, I needed a name and logo.

I love a good play on words so the name came easily… what I’m creating is material that’s been screen printed and as my products aren’t life ‘essentials’, they are ” lovely stuff you just have to have”, Materialistic was the perfect fit.

It is all handmade by me, from the typography, illustration, colour mixes, screen printing and sewing so customers really are getting a design original. Shop online here.
